The science of modern cosmology, observational and theoretical, clearly indicates that, at one point in time, the whole universe was nothing but a cloud of 'smoke' (i.e. an opaque highly dense and hot gaseous composition). This is one of the undisputed principles of standard modern cosmology. Scientists now can observe new stars forming out of the remnants of that 'smoke'. The illuminating stars we see at night were, just as was the whole universe, in that 'smoke' material. God said in the Quran .


There isn't any single way to characterize how Muslims are portrayed in Science Fiction. There are many cases where Muslims are cast in somewhat negative light in SF stories which are set in the near future. On the other hand stories set in the distant future have rather positive portrayal of Muslims. On this website I have tried to collect information about the depiction of Islam and Islamic themes in Science Fiction literature and science fiction written by Muslims. It should be noted that most of the information on this website is in regards to English literature and most certain there is a lot of material in other languages as well but because of the linguistic barrier I do not have access to that literature. Thus if someone could point me to that particular literature then I would be more than happy to add it to the website with due credit to the person.

Qur'an and Science

Is a topic becoming ever more important as Muslims try to not only present the Qur'an as not conflicting with modern science, but make the much stronger claim that the Qur'an is predicting modern scientific discoveries. This is used by many Muslims as a major proof for the divine origin of the Qur'an.
The next step is to call on all who hear it to become Muslims on this basis.
Since we do not believe the Qur'an to be from God, we are called upon to answer these claims and will soon present a very thorough investigation into the various details of this topic.

Healthy people — as well as many patients with cardiovascular disease — can improve their fitness and exercise performance with training.
